In 2002, Haier Corp, invested RMB 183 million to introduce world-class automated production line machinery manufactured by Germany's HOMAG and Italy's BIESSE while adopting the production technology of Italy's BOFFI Inc. Germany's Shule Corp. was responsible for the technology and overall arrangement of the entire production line and SAP Corp. was responsible for the design and implementation of the ERP project. Haier's integrated digital kitchen production base is a pioneer in Asia with an annual throughput of 70,000 sets.
